Doing Our Part (DOP) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable organization located in Fort Bend County TX. As one of the most diverse counties in the country, we are aiming to be the premier partner within our communities to assist in the eradication of homelessness and childhood hunger.
By providing resources to those at risk, we will enable these distinguished individuals an opportunity to become self-sufficient. The overall mission is to make our communities better, stronger and more loving.

Assisting the Hungry
Kidz Kitchen
Kidz Kitchen, our newest initiative, was developed in October 2018 to provide supplemental meals to school-aged students during extended school breaks, such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Spring Break. We provide our students with fresh, on-site, hot, quality meals. In Ft. Bend county alone, approximately 62% of students lack a quality meal multiple days each week. As a result, these students often struggle with concentration issues during classes, lack the ability to stay focused, as well as increased medical illnesses.
HEARTY Meals Program
HEARTY Meals– The HEARTY Meals program is designed specifically to provide quality meals to homeless population within our communities. Doing Our Part’s HEARTY Meals program exists to end local hunger for our homeless friends. In our communities, we provide nourishing meals monthly to more than 300 men, women, and children. We truly believe that everyone can work together to create a world where no person has to go to bed hungry. When friends like you partner with us, we can meet the needs of our communities by providing food, clean water, medical and hygiene items. Join us now and let’s Do Our Part.

B.E.Y.O.N.D. Mentoring Program
Our Philosophy– We can’t save the world, but we can “Do Our Part”. There are many needs in this world and we are each in possession of a valuable skill set and/or passion. When people and organizations partner, we are able to do much more for many more.
Our Vision– To become THE premier partner within our communities to eradicate homelessness and childhood hunger, and we plan to accomplish this by serving one smile at a time.
